WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows (R-11) is once again helping veterans access vital services through the Fifth Annual NC-11 Veterans’ Solutions Seminars.

This August, Meadows, in partnership with the Charles George VA Medical Center staff, the North Carolina Division of Veteran’s Affairs and the Veterans’ Affairs Winston-Salem Regional Benefit Office, will host a series of Veterans’ Solutions Seminars across the 11th district to provide practical assistance to those who have served the nation.

Veterans and their families will be invited to meet with members of Meadows’ staff, representatives from the VA hospital, the benefit office and the NC division of Veterans Affairs at the seminars to learn more about available assistance with issues surrounding VA benefits, healthcare and disability.

The seminars are scheduled as follows:

» Thursday, Aug. 9, 2-5 p.m., at the Caldwell County Health and Human Services Building (Tammy Austin Conference Room) at 2345 Morganton Boulevard in Lenoir

» Friday, Aug. 10, 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Haywood Senior Center at 81 Elmwood Way in Waynesville, and 2-5 p.m. at the Fletcher town hall at 300 Old Cane Creek Road in Fletcher.
