Congressman Mark Meadows is recognizing Captain William ‘B.J.’ Fore on his retirement from the Caldwell County Sherriff’s Office. Captain Fore has dedicated a large part of his life to serving Caldwell County, and he will be dearly missed. Rep. Meadows’ office will be presenting Captain Fore with an award this Thursday, December 15, and Rep. Meadows delivered a Congressional Record on the floor recognizing Captain Fore for his service.

Rep. Meadows released the following statement:

“I want to sincerely congratulate a great man and good friend, Captain ‘B.J.’ Fore, on his retirement this week from the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office. B.J. is a gentleman whom I am not only privileged to call a friend, but he is someone who has inspired me personally with his faithful service to Caldwell County and his willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty. Time and time again, Captain Fore has set the standard in public service, working tirelessly for his community and consistently answering the call to service with the word ‘Yes.’ It’s been an honor to call ‘B.J.’ my friend, and I wish him all the best in the future. Captain Fore -- congratulations on a job well done.”
